Juniper Procumbens pinching

Hi Folks

I have a Juniper Procumbens that has been let go w.r.t. pinching. If I pinch now the foliage will still be too long. If I cut back instead of pinching the shoots will brown.

Do I pinch now and keep pinching regularly and force it to bud further and further back or do I cut back and not worry about browning? The browning being masked by the new growth.

Fred

pinch back aggresivly mate, you shouldnt have any drama. or you can chop it back and then pinch the brown tips of later.

six of one, half a dozen of the other :? :D

I either pinch back hard where i can or cut back with scissors but try not to cut the foliage. Work in to the stem and cut off what you want to remove
