Hey All . . .

Anyone in Sydney [beaches areas] have any Japanese Larch doing ok ?

Was planning on digging a few from the mountains near Canberra [Blue Range] a few years back [when I was the webmaster and a member with the Canberra Bonsai], but that was the year of the fires [which Chernobyl-ed the area of course]

Have always wanted one . . . . so was wondering if it is possible or feasible here in Narrabeen ?

Please post . . . .

Cheers

All I can say is good luck.

Japanese Larch did OK in Mittagong at 500 mtrs altitude and fairly low humidity. European Larch forget it even there.

Never heard of anyone near the coast of Sydney having one and doing well. Move back to Canberra; my one is doing OK although they are very susceptible to dry outs.

PM me and I can give you a contact near you who may know better.

Grant
