brunch cutters large, concave

hey people.
i have just recently broken my pair of bruch cutters, the ones with the concave cut so you can get a hollow where you cut so it grows over nicely.
they were a pair of 200mm ones. so not massive but i am after a pair that i am not going to snap or bend. (which is what happened, i bent them trying to cust an olive branch and then while trying to straighten them being a hardened steel the blade chipped so i now only have half the size of the cut).
what i am after is a bigger pair than this, something that is solid and sturdy, not phased whether it is a second hand set either, i am capable of sharpening them

thanks for the lead mate
i will take a look, if i can i would like to try and stay at home in australia and buy from our local specialists if possible or even if someone has an old tool roll they are ready to move on would be great, but i will check out stone lantern

OI !!! what about staying at home and asking Leigh he has plenty of tools,both cheap and the high quality.
Grant was just bragging about getting some.
Jamie remember the old syaing two hands one tool not big enough!! thats a double ender if ever

All my bonsai tools come from Bonsainet, just type Bonsainet into google. Good prices and is based in Australia.

Just a tip on tools......not just for you Jamie - but anyone!
Most established bonsai retailers will mark up their imported tools a similar percentage.
The variation in price usually comes down to quality - just like the power tools you get from the hardware store.
When it comes to bonsai tools......if you can - buy Japanese - then....buy the best tool you can afford.
The most expensive bonsai tool is pretty much gonna be the "best".
Many bonsai retailers will sell 1 or 2 brands. There are cheap Japanese tools too (I know - I have sold them - I dont stock them any more - I had too many returned because the tips of scissors were snapping off)
If you have a couple of trees and dont wish to "get right in" to the hobby - then get cheap chinese - they will probably do the job (not real well - but they might pass)
If you are serious, and can afford it - it will serve you right to buy good quality tools that you wont need to replace!

makes spot on sense leigh, thats why i am looking at new tools. one this branch cutter. and two i am getting a collection that is gonna need work all the time and i am gonna need good quality!
as i said i bent the last pair and they also chipped so in this case, you do get what you pay for!
