This tree is a is a Syzygium species, commonly called a Lilly Pilly. This was given to me as a piece of root, from a dug out hedge in October of 2009. I have shaped it to where it is now. The ongoing work will involve getting the branches to thicken, the to put more style into the tree which is.

The crown has some more devlopment to go but it is going to be quite a nice Shohin.

i figured they were pup as even though the pics have been posted when the comp got put up for example some of the fast growing natives would change between now and the close date of the contest. i thought it only right to show the tree as of right up to the end of close date myself

by the way this one is looking sweet!
