Well mojo she is actually over 30 and married to my best mate. As for the tree it belongs to Jona and this was her first bonsai lesson. She got to do a bit of everything and passed with flying colours. A real natural! Took to wiring and carving like a duck to water. Well done girlfriend!

Saw the pics this morning and didn't realize this trunk was quite that large. Definately a great start and it should heal over quickly!

This is one of those figs that hadn't been repotted in a while. So some fat stuff got cut off under the soil. This is going to cause the base to swell. Stay tuned i will keep it posted with some measurements. The circumference at soil level is 275mm

Well it definately has a bright future. Just teriffic!

Recently defoliated, pruned back, and now resting as you can see from the weeds. However it is filling out nicely and almost ready for more work, soon i hope

Partial defoliation and a thin ready for more wire soon!

Prepared for its next incarnation, next is to create some vertical sub trunks ( so to speak ) to continue to fill out the broom. One is on its way, i now hope to pop at least two more in the right places...
