I have a smaller kikuwa (200mm) that I bought second hand on ebay for $39. It's is of great quality and seems to be lasting. I also bought a non-rust stainless steel chinese made cutter for half of that price and it is still working fine. I found a bigger one of similar type on ebay for reasonable price. The problem with chinese tools are they are easily rusted and broken. With this size, it will be hard to break and if it won't rust then it will be good :)

not in all cases, what about working on fine detail stuff? you dont use a framing nail gun when working with skiting and architrave do ya? :P

big is good for heavy work, small detail tools are definately needed i think.

JMO. :D

i didnt know they made left and right handed tools Leigh, that might make sense why i find tools awkward to use sometimes. i am just lucky to be a little abidextrous  :D

Oh, no Jamie, does that mean you need two sets? Would be very useful to get that awkward angle..
