Another good start Ant. Looks like there is lots of branches to choose from and some good in close growth.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! its pine time, i love this time of the year :D as promised this tree has been restyled. here's a b4 and after. i am still in need of back budding and filling out. the apex needs to extend and drop in the back a little more. mid august it will get a much needed repot. the sooil is all clogged up and root bound. this i believe is why the tree hasn't performed a well as i would have liked. the previous owner had repotted the year b4 i purchased the tree. it is obvious to me now that not enough was pruned back, rather it was shoe horned into this pot and topped with some fresh soil. im dreading whats under that soil  i must stick to my guns in future and always repot in the 1st season of owning a new tree. :D

Hey Tony,
Looks like you have taken Don's advice from his demo and really got stuck into that tree. Nice movement in the trunk on this one.

thanks david, it has always been my philosophy to makem or breakm or chuckm. how ever my confidence and skills are beginning to catch up to my thoughts. it was refreshing to hear don telling people to sacrafice the emotional baggage and make better trees for the future. this is a thinking that australia really needs to adopt in order to move farther forward and have many more great tree's here... :D

Good thinking Tony.

I got stuck into needle pulling/cutting my large Radiata on the weekend but ran out of time to wire and take a photo. Its come up well and hopefully will respond really well this spring. Hoping to wire and photograph this coming weekend.
