Hey everyone,
Well here she is my first attempt at a literati styled bonsai. Any criticism is appreciated and pointers in the right direction.

not a bad start mate, i would think about removing the low branches and the small ones that go in between, and just work with the main branch on the left and develop the apex, maybe have another pad come from it and a crown for apex.
i will virt it if you need

Hey Jamie,
A Virt would be great I have seen a few on here before and there is always a need for inspiration.

Although the trunk line has a few curves, to me it is a bit static. More radical curves coupled with a slant might be the go. The cambium should be pretty stable at this time to attempt this. Jamie is right about lower branch removal and I would go further up on that suggestion. Remember this "less is more".

Wow thats interesting,
I may have to leave the tree for a while before I have another crack at it to let it recover from its massive haircut
