I would love to join you Philippe but it is too far to travel for me being in the central west. Would you consider traveling to do Demonstrations?

I have conducted many public talks for clubs and public events...of course i would love to. But the issue is time, I am flying to China back and forth these days, my time is rather tight with the Academy..not to mention also, the Chinese garden of friendship..

But def keep in touch.

Hi there crazy kids!!

Had the pleasure of speaking with Phillipe Tot yesterday after having driven past his Penjing academy in Hurlstone Park... Did'nt even know there was even was such a thing in Australia but apparently it's the only one. I also did'nt know he is the curator (and has been for some time) of the Chinese Gardens in Darling Harbour. As he was not there at the time, I had a sticky beak in the window and saw a room with tables and bonsai tools on each one as well as some nice trees decorating the room....(Love the setup). For those into Penjing, his basics class starts tomorrow night and goes for 8 weeks. I'm seeing too many nurseries and the like closing down. People like this need to be seen and supported so that we can all have the opportunity to embrace this wonderful art.
