While I was wandering around a local nursery today, the gentlemen that works there asked me what I was looking for. I told him that I have a new found interest in Bonsai. As I was about to leave after picking out an unknown Juniper (didn't think to ask him what type it was) he asked if I would like the plant pictured below, (he had 2 of them in his hands). I asked how much he wanted for them and he said "nothing, I was going to throw 'em out". Once again I didn't think to ask for an I.D.

no probs mate, and yea this foliage is different, i think you could call it a needle type juniper, i think it is called needle juniper over in america, dont quote me on that though i could be wrong.

but it is def. a shore juniper.
