The material was very old. The pot is only a few years old. I dont have an accurate date for the age of the tree. But if I was to compare with my other 35 year old figs, and give you an estimate age. I would say around 50+ years old.

Beautiful Edward
A great example of a tree showing indeterminable age.
did you collect it and style it, or was someone else responsible for creating it?

Hi ken, Ive had the tree for some years noe but from what Ive been told, the tree changed hands afew times and was worked on by at least three people. The last owner had it as a slightly informal upright in a brown rectangular pot. I changed the pot to a shallow longer oval and grew the bottom branch out to extend the length of the pot. That was the only contributions I added to the tree. If only trees could talk, then I would know its life history.
Cheers Eddie
