[SOLVED] Is this a Desert Ash??

This was given to me along with a heap of maples today.

Desert Ash or Cape Honeysuckle? The close up of the leaf is too blurry but I would go for Desert Ash because the Cape Honeysuckle has a more textured trunk, even young as this one is and the lead leaf on the compound stalk is rounder than the ash. So I would go for ash. Put it in a large pot and cut it back in the spring to let it grow on, thicken up, get some character. But they make good bonsai.
