hi people :D

i finally bought a JBP after much thinking and research, stands 25cm tall reducable to 18cm with lots of branching, trunk is near 3cm with a root flare about 4-5cm across.

here she be, some virting will be occuring soon, i just have a couple of other trees to virt for a mate too before i start on this one, plenty of time though i will be waiting a couple of months before even touching this, depending on how the tree goes with acclimatisation.

Howzit Jamie,

Nice JBP!! :D Do you know what type it is? Are you planning to put it in the ground like how I did with my "Mikawa" JBP? BTW, it's doing fine.

wow, lots of questions :)

first is yes this is my first JBP pretty much i had a small starter that i killed due to lack of knowledge. mick, i think i will be waiting a little for this one to acclimatise before any work is done, i will work out what needs to be done when this has happened! :D

and timmy :D this i beleive is plain old JBP mikawa i think, i am hoping mojo can verify for me :D

cheers for the interest :D

Good stuff Jamie
Moving away from the Ficus into something totally different. :) Time to take in as much of that knowledge about the pinus species as you can  . Have fun with it.
