Tool roll blues...

Where can I get my paws on a good tool roll?
My bag of tricks is getting full, I am considering emptying out my old tool box and filling that but it is metal and I am worried about blunting the ends of my shears etc. If you have a easy way to stop this (put plastic tube over the ends?) then I would use the box and save some cash.

Help me out ;)

Gday Damian

If you are after a actual tool roll you could have a look at Leigh's web site and he might be able to help you out.

Hi Damian.

I made my own tool roll out of some let over material. All I did was fold it about two thirds of the way along and stitched in some pockets.
Saved some money and you can have it what ever size you like :D

Give it a try.

Damian....Head to your local fishing tackle store, and check out their Lure Rolls...they come in all sorts of sizes, configurations etc, most have clears on the inside panel,so you can see what tool you are searching for ! :) ....Dog.

You can also pick up tool rolls at good woodworking tool supply company's like Carbotech usually they are made for chisels.

You can get them made at canvas works also. As has been pointed you can make them yourself if you wife has a sowing machine.

Cheers ;) Pup

PS get yourself a winning tree for next year then you can get a leather one full.
