Hi there crazy kids. You might have seen my post a few days ago about a Serissa that I Potted. After much reflection I decided to take it out of that pot. I've gone to too much trouble for a compromise so lucky for me, when I went to the exhibition at Bankstown today, I met up with Kingston Wang and saw a pot that was just perfect. Do you think the new pot represents an improvement? Criticisms? I have also grafted some moss . I also had to trim more of the rootball off in order to compensate for the much lower profile of this pot. In all, just a tad over half of the rootball has been removed.

I think the round pot certainly works better with the tree. Also, and it might just be the lighting in the photo, but the nebari seem to be more prominent in the round pot which also adds to the overall effect. Nice work!

love the round pot, makes the tree look more aged due to the difference in the tree size to the pot, wish i could keep a serissa :( , she doesnt like me

Good choice. The round pot suits the canopy much better than the rectangle pot did.
