Funny and a lil' lame at the same time. I do admire his angles on the close ups, he works the camera well. I'd like to see him try some realistic scenes, it would be awesome to see one which looked real

The whole theme could be related to Applied photography used to edit a background scene behind a shot of your bonsai. The idea was, if your tree looked like a full sized one in a natural setting then it was good bonsai.

Someone once edited some of John Naka's work...

I'll see if i have the pics.

I guess a similar principal apply's here, good model/background, good bonsai = a realistic scene.

For me, Its a little bit unnerving seeing smashed up cars & trucks sitting at the foot of a bonsai... I was in a head on with a tree a number of yrs ago (I wasnt driving) and seeing these .. well .....

I would love one of those tankers but they are not big enough to fit with the tree I would use it for.. Wonder if they would custom make a model to order...

Maybe a model that I could wedge between 2 trunks like an accident I have seen in real life, there wasnt much left of the car or the occupants, they had to get a crane in to lift the car out from between the 2 trunks. Never speed, even on quiet country roads.
