It looks very much like my Ficus Watkinsiana - Australian Strangler Fig. Leaves look to big for a Qld Small Leaf (Obliqua).

ficus obliqua can have leaves up to 10cm + when left unchecked, i have one in the ground with some up to 15cm + this is why ficus is such a hard species to actually pinpoint an exact, i am about 95% sure its obliqua.

I would get rid of those bugs quick before they get to any thing else.
It is a Ficus sbbp
Edit coming from a demo site in Sydney. I would be more inclined, to the famous Port Jackson Ficus rubiginosa, they are abundant in the area. Going by all the wild figs that have started there journey from these areas. Also there is the slight reddish colouration on the underside of the leaf.
Not like the more mature trees. This is very young but the colour is there.

Yep. Moreton Bay fig to me. I was just given a few the other day. There are heaps of sapplings on the gutter of a building at work too. I guess the lolakies brought the seeds there.

Are the leaves furry on the underside ? If so I would think PJ.

I agree with Pup. Ficus rubiginosa. The petioles are too short for Ficus macrophylla. The presence or absence of hair means very little due to variation. Same goes with leaf size. Are there any larger ones like this nearby? If so, take a photo of the bark, any fruit (still connected if possible) and the basal flair.
