Hi, this is Leigh from Ledanta Bonsai Nursery in Canberra.
I have been running the nursery since 2000 in a variety of places. Like many, I started at markets, then found a permanent spot in Gold Creek, then Kingston, then Pialligo, and now at my new home in Evatt.
I have been trying to set the nursery up in my backyard for about a year now. Things have progressed slowly for one reason or another. My aim is to have a nursery that blends into the surroundings of a beautiful Japanese Style garden. I also aim in the future to stock only quality bonsai, in all sizes, and to leave the "commercial bonsai" to Bunnings.
My website is www.ledanta-bonsai.com.au
Cheers,
Leigh Taafe

Hi Leigh and welcome to the forum.
I love your idea about the nursery in a traditional Japanese garden setting. Please post some pictures of your yard and bonsai if you get a chance.

Hi Asus, I will also be doing advanced prepared stock. I guess I basically want to deal only in good quality material, pre bonsai or potted bonsai.
Cheers,
Leigh.
