Hi all,

Tomorrow night, Tuesday 8th June from about 7pm onwards, myself and Leigh will be starting the overhaul of a 59 year old Mugo pine and recording/posting as we go in real time; thus allowing you to be involved and interacting if you wish.

The tree was repotted last year and is in really good health and is now a great candidate for the full treatment.

I intend to remove about 75% of the existing foliage and convert the main trunk into a jin. The jin will probably need to be finished and moved/carved/wired into place before we can get on with the restyling of the remaining foliage so this workshop may go over a few Tuesday nights in a row.

I am a slow but careful worker when it comes to wiring.

Looks like I will have to delay one week before I can get started on the Pine. I was hoping to be better by now but a cold I caught on the plane coming back from WA has freshened up and I feel like c..p today.

To compensate I will try to get a photo up in advance so you can see the tree before we start.
