Front one has a good root spread and shows better depth in the three trunks In my eyes!

G,day Skippy I prefer front number one. It has pleasing nebari clear flowing lines.
Number two has crossing trunks and is offencive to the eye.
It does have pleasing nebari though, though if you ditched that crossing trunk, you would be left with a bigger problem.

Jamie if you take the one from the left you have a flat side with little movement and a large scar to heal over.
If you take the centre one you have a huge void that cannot be hidden or disguised.
If you take out the right you have a similar problem as with the left side but less movement, for continuity.
Of the three options explained the best of them would be to take out the left trunk, leaving that side to heal and work on branch placement for movement.
As I said JMHO, cheers
