the joy of bonsai
This bouganvillea is named "Shirley", a dedication to one of the most amazing woman i know, who i am forutnate enough to call my nan.
this was dug from nans garden 4 yrs ago, undergoing its intial styling just 6 months after collection.
this tree brings me and nan the greatest happyness when it flowers and will continue to for as long as we have.
i hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

What a wonderful story Jarryd. Nans are great and I miss mine.

It's too bad your in such a hurry cause the stories I could tell you, Bushels and baskets of stories, hole crates full of stories. But if you can spare a moment I will tell you one story.

Re: the joy of bonsai
Great post Jarryd a couple of fine looking shirls. I like it when my trees have a history like your boug will have, it makes them much more special. Mate its also great to see someone of your age, close to his nan you seem like a guy with a good heart . Well done! Rod....
