Lee Wilson is an Australian bonsai master and President of the Association of Australian Bonsai Clubs. He has a bonsai nursery within the Forest Way Garden Centre on Forest Way, Belrose, Sydney. Lee is an excellent stylist as well as being very honest and engaging and happy to share his knowledge.

Lee carries the coarse gravel base soil having taken over the distribution when Koreshoff's closed. He has a smaller selection of stock plants and pots then most bonsai nurseries but he focuses more on styled bonsai. I find his prices a bit 'North Shore' but it always worth a look at what he has as I have picked up stock plants at Lee's place I have not seen elsewhere.

The nursery is open 7 days a week and while I don't have the street number, the turnoff is at a traffic light and it is easy to see as you approach. The Forest Way Garden Centre sign is prominent and Lee's large specialist bonsai area opens on the left as you enter the car park from the side street. Definitely worth a visit. Open 7 days.

Definitely will give him a visit. I had heard of the name, but had never researched it so to speak!
Thanks! Something to do on the weekend

Tell Lee you heard about his nursery on Ausbonsai. I sent him details of the websites in November and ask that he post it in his shop. I'm going up soon to get some more soil but NOT in this weather...
