This is another long term ground grown project that i will be digging in a few months (clue). It has been in the ground since 1997 and is finally ready to be lifted & taken to the next stage.

The trunk is about 8" in diameter once you get above the swollen base. It has 3 telegraph roots that extend some 18" down into the subsoil. I plan to layer at the base of them and once established have them exposed, the trunk will be chopped above the 3rd branch. I dont plan on growing a new apex but rather just have 3 floating clouds of foliage/bloom(another clue). I will put up more pics once we have a correct guess :)

Spot on Shannon. This is the base of a bambino bougy after 15yrs of growing (2yrold when planted). She is over 6' high & wide and puts out water shoots up to 8' long and 2" thick each season.

This is it as of 2wks ago. the frosts have hit the top hard, as per usual. It fires away again come spring with no trouble. I am going to remove over half of the top of it. Will try striking them as cuttings, tho have found the bambino tend not to do as well as regular bougy when striking cuttings from old wood.
