Hello all
I was trying to sell Bonsai at the Bay (Nursery at Jervis Bay NSW) in early Febuary this year. After 2 months of serious advertising ther were no takers on the business. :o So I decided the only way to go was to MAKE THE NURSERY BIGGER. :D I have over 1500 stock trees now and 300 serious pots, mainly unglazed. The benches are full and brimming and we have been digging over the colder months which has increased stock quite substantially :) I am letting all bonsai nuts far and wide that Bonsai at the Bay will continue to grow and expand and I will regularly let you know when I am travelling to Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne for drop offs and deliveries. Just letting Melbourne people know I am in Melbourne later in the year November /December with the ability to deliver large stock bonsai. 8-) I have room for 20 trees so PM me if you would like any information or specific photos. Sydney siders I am regularly in Sydney for deliveries but please do not expect me to drive 2-3 hours for a $30 tree. ;) Just throughout August if you make the stressful coastal drive down to Jervis Bay and identify yourself as an ausbonsai member expect a 10-30% discount. Currently have some huge fruit trees, large pines, corky barks and seiju elm, ficus, privet  ,junipers and maples.

What do you mean by serious pots?

Any pics/details of what is available?

Thanks

Scott.

Great to hear Mase looks like you have been busy :)
Some bloody nice beaches too. It was a treat sitting under the shade of a banksia tree only feet from the shore with white sqeaky sand.

Almost didn't matter the surf was a couple of Km's away :?

Hi all,
you are right Brett to add the note about the beach ;) but I have not seen the sun like that in your photo for a few weeks now, but I have been catching a few lobsters each weekend when the swell is down, water temperature is about 16 degrees I ahve been wearing 3 layers of wetsuits and look like a sponsor for the donut king, but the crays taste good . :D

Just a few photos for scott roxborough re: serious pots. I risked the rain and wind to take a few rushed shots with my size 13 sneaker in the mix to help with size comparison.

Chat soon mase

Good on you Mase,

You have too good a setup to get rid of it anyway, so why not make it bigger!

My son also still thinks you have a great collection of old matchbox cars :)

Will come down again closer to summer for sure. I want to fine a nice forest tray for a setting similar to your Maples one and it looks like you have some nice examples.

Cheers
John

I have landed some nice forest trays this week all unglazed and about 1-3 foot long.

Let me know if you need specifics and I can photograph individual pots for you.
