Hi Everyone,

I am just curious about this native species, Pittosporum Undulatum. Has anyone trying to bonsai this species? If yes, please share some info and your experiences about them.

This species is native to NSW but it has been idendified as a weed.

Thanks all in advance.

Hello, never grown one as a bonsai but in the garden Pittosporum are easy to grow, tough plants that respond well to pruning so i guess its worth a try. Could have quite large leaves I guess so maybe as a large sized bonsai. Good luck if you try one :D

I am pretty sure Ant had a couple and he might have got rid of them, i beleive if i remember correctly they have large internodal spacing which make them very hard to work with. cant remember any more, do a few searches on here and you might find it, maybe search ant's posts too ;)
