Got this one from Miyagiman Dec 2008

Did a repot last year, unfortunately no pics. Had to take alot of thick old roots off if i was to ever get it into a decent pot. Today i carved, wired and repot again. This time i have done some root grafts using the drill and plug method, so as to hopefully fill out a nebari as well as be able to cut more off the bottom to fit into a nice pot next year??? Lot of work to be done still and this is not the final planting angle but we are on our way!!!

I like the movement this tree has from the soil line, a great nebari which your are building will do this tree great justice!

Nice work ant. You can never underestimate the 'plain old' prunus! Can't wait to see this baby when she gets some hair on her head....

btw, your carving is awesome - love your style, man!

Nice ant, I love your root work as ususal. Very bald and fearless. I guess I've learned a fair bit from your style and used it for a few of my trees in recent repotting. I used to worry about hard root prunning.
