This is one of my collected Melaleuca rhaphiophylla. As you can see the main trunk had rotted and a part was left and a branch became a second trunk. It has quite a lot of character, and I want the best angle of viewing so I have put it on the turntable to see where is best. Maybe with the help of Club members I can decide. I will number them with the pictures.

I like number 3 as the angle for veiwing, i think it shows the live sections of tree well against the dead sections

Hi Pup, #3 grabs my eye, would it be possible to tilt the tree a few degrees more to the front,as i feel like the tree is leaning away from me. Hard to see without a side veiw,,,Love the trees ,, cheers Craig

I like the first pic, but is there a way to bring the two trunks closer together? Even if it is closer near the top.

Hey Pup,

How bout a 360? I would be interested to see this tree from all angles. Sometimes a better view can be found by turning things on there head (so to speak).

I like #2
I believe one trunk should be slightly foreward of the other and would usually opt for the larger trunk in front, but this angle shows off the deadwood beautifully.
Angle #3 starts to lose the movement to the right which I rather like.

A 360 is possible, but just for now here are some more pics so you can see the twists and turns in the tree. Thanks for your input guys.

I like number 2 as I believe it shows more depth in the main trunk and the relationship between the two trunks.

I like the way in No.3 you can see movement in both trunks, and it shows of the dead wood very well.

None of them spark me as just right yet. I like child in fron and I would like to see more angles of the back. Have you considerd splitting and putting back together slightly different?

This is something I have toyed with, as when it was solid it was so much better. There is a lot of character in the dead wood, so if I go that way I will have take that into consideration.
The back view as it looks there in the picture is a possibility, it would however take a lot of very delicate work, so as not to break very significant parts.

The pictures do not show the tree as well as I had hoped but all of your points of view have been noted and I thank you.
