Little Azalea

I acquired this Azalea through a trade and was supplied with very little information, so I have no idea what type of Azalea it is. It's in a super size pot so I have cropped the image.
It looks to have had a prune here and there recently (within 6 months) and there are no flower buds, perhaps it may even be a non flowering variety?
Please help

Gday Anja
It looks like a Azalea so-tome excuse the spelling if thats is not right. From what i am lead to believe it will not flower but do make beautiful trees.

G'day Anja, it definetly looks like a sao-to-me, to me I have had quite a few of them over the years, most of them are non flowering, but there is a flowering type also, have had a couple of them also, here is a pic of one I had, unfortunately it has passed on,

Does look like a sao tome.
But older plants do throw the occassional pink flower..
I have several large pot grown that have been left un pruned..So I would say the flower would be on new growth..
If you keep prunning ,as you do for bonsai you probably never see a flower..
Ours were used in propagation they prop very easily .
But this is a cute tree.
