I acquired this bonsai a while ago. Was not happy with the branch movement so decided to start again. Removed major branches in autumn and now it's pushing new growth all over.
I hope to get some wire on the new grow to establish an apex, then work from there.
Would like to hear you thoughts on where this new growth could be directed over the next season.
Edit- On a side note, I'm not even sure if this is a Trident, leaves look spot on... but bark? I believe it is 15+ years old. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Jarryd, I look forward to seeing what I do with it also.
I do have a fond spot for the trunk, not sure of my pot choice though. It seems to be doing great so I am hesitant to put it in a grow box atm.

Have let it grow out, should I wire and bring the shoots back down, or just clip them and let them grow?
