I planted some JBP and Red pine seeds and they are starting to pop up now.

I have not raised pine seeds before and have (properly a silly) question.

Many of the new sprouts that have come up but still have the seed husk attached at top - should I remove the seed husk or will it just fall off when it's ready?????

will fall off in time mate, let them be. I will try find a good thread on pine seed propagation as small seedlings that is a really good way to do it.

nice. my red pine seeds never pop... dont know y. i've put more in. still waiting. hopefully i will have at least 1 out of 100
