[SOLD] WHITE FLOWERING HEDGE [Lewisham Inner West Sydney]
Posted: October 11th, 2010, 1:35 pm
WHITE FLOWERING LANTANA HEDGE
Currently 3.3 metres long, 1 metre wide and 70cm high
NOT SUITABLE FOR BONSAI - hedge only as it is a mass of spindly sticks that root in the ground and grow up... no real trunk.
The Lantana is a hybrid and does not seed so it is environmentally friendly and not a noxious weed.
White Flowers with spot purple flowers.
Hedge would be lifted in sections and when replanted each section could be spaced apart so the hedge could be stretched to 5 metres and in 6 months or so it would grow to fill the gaps.
Flowers 10 months of the year. Full sun, once establish little maintenance is required beyond several trims a year. Does not grow higher than 70 cm.
Front yard LEWISHAM NSW [Inner West Sydney]
I want to replace it with roses and it is a shame to dig up and destroy a lovely hedge that has graced my front yard for over 8 years. Send me a PM if you are interested.
Before lifting the hedge should be cut back to bare branches which would make it easier and smaller to lift and transport and easier to re-establish. It has not yet taken off fully and the flowers are only a shadow of its normal appearance.
