Coco michelia as bonsai

Anyone herd of this shrub being bonsaied?
this species is related to the magnolia. it could possibly be used without to much trouble, maybe suiting a larger tree as I dont know how the leaves reduce.
the only way you will find out how they will go is to try them. I havent seen them as bonsai before though.
