Hey all,

Just thought id share some pics of this one thats been entertaining me recently :) I dug it up the other day to see how it was doing and have some up to date pics but i thought id start from the begining. Feel free to give me feedback on how to progress with this one/further styling. I was thinking broom style but its early days so we'll see how it goes.

So when we made the decision to free up some of the pot (none of them had fruited because there wasnt enough room for them to spread out leaving me with a bunch of winter bashed squirts :P) I dug a few out and decided to have some fun with them. The ones that had very little that was interesting about them (tap root straight down like a carrot) ended up for my very first trial run of fusing.

The leaves that were left on fell off and new shoots started budding a shot while after that pic.

When I was happy enough that they were healthy enough to move back outdoors (yes its been a spoilt little plant in my tiny little appartment) I dug it up and washed out the roots to see how things were going.

Great stuff! You do realise though, some chilli plants are annuals? :)

yes I had heard that, this one seems to make the grade tho. the seeds came from a plant that my mothers had for years. Needs a chop back every couple of years to improve its vigour but is maybe 10 - 15 years old now? i cant remember, i planted that one from seed too :)
