Penny,
Many thanks for posting these photo's, I can now get into hotmail but cant retrieve any attachments. Its hard to beleive only 3 moths ago you shoved that first piece of clay in my hands. I have been reviewing the results all day & lots to discuss when i see you again. Seeing the kiln like that it really shows how much space could have been used for more pots... oh well next time... Oh thats right there wont be a next time. The next time will be in my own kiln WOOHOO!!!!
I have to thank you even more for shoving that first piece of clay in my hands as it reawakened an old love of the medium & opened up a whole new aspect to my bonsai. The little pot I made for you is small recompense for all you have given me. Expect many more in years to come, each firing will have its special piece just for you.
Wally,
Yes lots there, lots of work

each pot takes between 30mins and 4 hours to make, I hate to think how many hours in total for the 180(approx) pots I produced for this firing over a 4wk period, too many to remember all thats for sure. Is a pic of the bulk of them and 2 choice pieces already on my pot construction thread
viewtopic.php?f=45&t=6009, more will be added as I work my way thru them.

Hey Nathan,
No I didnt get to the pink ones. I need to get the right clay for them first. I found a commercially available glaze to do the job but will spend a bit of time mucking around see if I cant make my own recipe up first, I have until May next year to have the pots done in time for her birthday (yay for once I am not up against the calender).
I wont be firing again till my own kiln is set up & packed to the brim, expecting new year to have it set up & full maybe a few months after that, unless i get extra motivated. The pots will be taking a back seat for a while till i get the house & garden sorted & back into shape.
