Pup is the best man for advice here, but i will pass on what i do with mine and that is prune medium to hard after flowering. They do bud back on old wood but are prone to a little bit of dieback.

G,day NS Bohdi has given you good advice. What you need to do is get some girth on the trunk. So a bigger pot or the ground. Style the tree at this time. your prefered style as they do respond to pruning, well mine do.
They strike well as cuttings without any special treatment. They are in active growth at this time of the year.
So now is a good time to work on them.
One bit of advice is to leave some green on the shoot's that you prune, it dose help in stopping too much die back.
Cheers

Pup

Thank You both for the advice!
grow box on the way
I have extended my bonsai love by quite a few training trees in the last 10 months!, this is one of only a few that i am wary of dramatically working!
(not scared just a bit overwhelmed).....
Maybe i should try different types of clipping and pinching techniques in different positions on the canopy<?
Trial by error.
for this one, i love Baeckea that much more!
AND YOURS PUP! AMAZING!
