Hi all!

Was pleased today to see a little experiment had come to life after a winter of dormancy. Removed it about 6 months ago. It is the wound callous section of a large branch that fell many years ago. Cheched under-neath and there a quite a few new roots.

Had some nice texture so thought I would chop it off and see if it would shoot. It did, how's that for height ratio. :D 10cm wide, 1 cm high.

Not sure where i'm heading from here, fun experiment though. :D

Hey Mitchell,

That is certainly something different and the sort of thing I would love to spend some time really studying from every angle.

Its always great to see an experiment work out, I for one often dont know where they may be heading but still do the experiment for the fun of it, you can work the rest out when & if it works

Thanks Matt, different is what I was aiming for. :D

Those shots were terrible, I may try and take some more later on.
It definitely has many nooks and crannies in it not to mention the lichen.

 you did have to mention one of my favorites there mmmmmmm lichen

Different is not a bad thing, different is what grabs me, holds me, ever draws my eye.
Some may decry as monstrous, obscene, not I, let me hold and caress with my eye
to touch and feel those lines of time, growth, loss (sacrifice?), renewal, life.
