Ficus Bonsai in the Temperate Climate is a fantastic reference to growing, training and styling ficus. Written in particular for the Sydney climate, it can easily be adapted for other areas.
Leong has been successfully growing ficus for 30+ years and this book has a wealth of first hand experiences, information and heaps of his own pictures contained in the 190 pages.
Propagating, collecting, choosing stock for bonsai, pests and diseases, repotting, training, restyling old bonsai etc etc etc. There are some great progressions particularly the restyling of big old bonsai.

In my opinion, if you are serious about growing ficus then this book is a must have. It's around $40 from most bonsai nurseries or online.

Regards,
Steven
