It' been just over a year since I collected this peach tree to gether with a few others. They had quite a few flowers and then fruits. I picked them early and only left some to ripe. They smell so good for the last several days. They don't taste very sweet on the tonge but I felt like they are the sweetest peaches I've ever tasted. I'm so proud

Thats a lovely tree Kvan and your carving is great, It might be time to let the tree put some energy into growing branches now.

That’s a sensational trunk dk! Nice carving

I tried some carving with a dremel for the firs time on the weekend and loved it

I agree with craig though. You should definitely let it grow branches for the next couple of seasons, rather than letting it fruit.

Thanks guys. This is the tree that I entered in the literati competition last year but later on withdrew. I will let it develop branches. Just wanted to see what it looks like with fruits.
Cheers,
DK

Burn it mate ...burn

I used a gas torch (MAP gas) the hotter the better as you want to do it quickly and cool it down with water straight away. Slow burning will cause the heat to travel/transfer to the living tissues and kill them.
