Bonsai stand at Chadstone Shopping Centre

I have long been a fan and admirer of the small stand at Chadstone. I went there a week or two ago and thought it may have closed, but its moved a short distance away down on of the mall runs.

Whilst typically smaller entry level trees, I am always amazed at the health of his/her? trees. Always an intense green many with flowers. They even have some rarer types from time to time. I can't recall healthier trees anywhere else, except maybe club shows, which are on par.

Does anyone know any more about who grows these, or if there is a larger nursery behind it?

Greetings,
I will be in Melbourne this weekend and may be able to visit some bonsai related places.
Can you give some relevant details of where this stand is.
Please remember there is a lot of Australia, don't assume local knowledge.
Thanks,
BonsaiBruce

In terms of older quality and more stock you may want to head elsewhere. But Chaddie is a great place to shop and if you do go there its close to the large open area (below food court). Down on of the avenues that feed off, but hard to explain which.

If you came down the escalator from the food court (lets call this direction 12 oclock) you would head in a direction about I'm guessing about 8 o'clock. Its one of about 5 tables/stands in the centre of malls.

It may be just easier to ask at one of the info stands. They also sell blankets?

Defiately go to BonsaiArt in Heatherton which is 15 minutes away, and then while you are at it Garden World.

Hi Bruce, it may be better if you tell us where you are going to be and we will tell you whats around that area!

I have seen this little place Soda, a long time ago and was gifted a tree by a friend that lasted for years.
