At first I thought it was a NZ Christmas tree but I'm not sure.
I have been going to try a NZ Christmas tree for a while now because they grow great arial roots for a non-tropical tree but I have not got around to it, this has prompted me to go out and get one after Christmas.

(wikipedia) The Pōhutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa) is a coastal evergreen tree in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, that produces a brilliant display of red flowers made up of a mass of stamens. The Pōhutukawa is one of twelve Metrosideros species endemic to New Zealand. Renowned for its vibrant colour and its ability to survive even perched on rocky, precarious cliffs, it has found an important place in New Zealand's culture, both of the European settlers and Maori - being venerated for spirituality, strength and beauty, and considered one of the "chiefly trees", the rakaurangatira.[1]
