Hi Hector,
I agree about the bonsai in Die Hard. But I have thought that the one in Karate Kid
was rather outstanding -- the one where Daniel descends down the alley to pick it
up for Mr. Miagi. I read in one of Bonsai Today issue that that particular bonsai
belongs a noted American-Japanese bonsai artist who lives in California. I have
been trying to find the issue but I could not. I will find it one day.
I have not seen the others. I have seen "The King and I" with Mr. Yul Bryner. I
could not stand Mr. Chow and Ms. Foster in the later version -- they butched a
master piece

.
Best regards.

For an ongoing detailed listing of bonsai in films and on (mostly U.S.) T.V. please start here

(Not to slight the great work by my friend Lindsay Farr, please also see Mar 4 entry

Hey guys,
Sorry to bring up a reasonably old post, but I was wandering if it was possible to get lists of the movie/tv/game titles at all?
I'm particularly interested in knowing which video/computer games had bonsai in them!!
Thanks,
Nathan ^_^

Sorry it's taken a while for me to get back to you on this. Please see
http://www.phoenixbonsai.com/BoldlyGrow5.html for the short games list. My kids (13-19) have told me of a few others but they haven't given me enough details yet to include those in this listing.
