i just looked at my PJ Fig and it has white stuff appearing on the bottom of the trunk area... What is it?! and im assuming its a bad sign?!

Any chance of putting a picture up for us to look at. Could be any number of things - good and bad?

Photo would be great but could just be the salts surfacing from too much fertiliser.

Post photo. Always better to see what you are talking about in such a case.

What fertiliser are you using?

Looks like its a build up of salts, not a huge problem & easily fixed by giving it a good wash and maybe it would be a good idea to soak the pot in a tub to leach out the rest. Salt build is common when using inorganic ferts and will eventually do harm but as long as you keep ontop of it shouldnt be a problem.

I used seaweed plant food concentrate which im pretty sure is organic?
