You should call it 'Tubby' Jon. 8-)
Do any of you people down under give names to your trees?

Excellent work there Jon. Nice movement in the trunk. Do you defoliate at any stage?

Hi Ash, To this stage there has been little point in defoliating as I am only working on the trunk structure at present. Branches and smaller leaves will come later.

Yes Peter, I know what you mean. Bigger trees in bigger pots with more soil seem easier to keep and work on and I also have only just attempted to produce some smaller ones. I am finding that a lot more planning has to go into the little ones in order to get the 'balance' right.

This one appears to have a shelter in situ. YES! it had just been misted before the photograph was taken but it was comparatively dry inside. ;)

What's the history on that one Stymie. Is it several whips intertwined or is it just one tree?

I didn't start it Jon but I too have a feeling that it may have been several fused together originally. The branches are comparatively new and the leaves have reduced nicely.
