A radiata that was collected last autumn. Has put out heaps of root and lots of branches so I took the clay off half the root ball and popped it back into the pot.

Thoughts?

G'day Jarrod, well done on the success of collecting radiata. Those two cut off branches on the bottom could be a good carving project.

They will hopefully be carved. I am prepping this tree to work on with Hiro when he is here next. Don't think I will be doing any really heavy bending but I will leave it up to Hiro to decide. I have my own thoughts but I want him to work on this with me.

Hi Jarrod,

I still think this is one of the best to come from that dig.

I have the same intention with mine they will make a great project for a Hiro workshop.

Workshops will be available with Hiro in the school holidays June/ July 2012

After looking at my calendar July 2nd till July 10th 2012 is my best guess.

BSV committee is currently in the process of trying to book the same workshop venue as 2010. ( Blackburn )

yeah i think it is up there with the nicest ones. from the ones i have seen. I helped dig a heap of them. Elias has a number as well, and one really good one.

I can't wait for Hiro to come back, I have heard such great things from his workshops yet i have not seen him work yet.

Hi Jarrod,

I just checked the minutes, Sunday July 8 2012 is a confirmed date for Hiro's demonstration day at BSV in Kew.

This means that the week leading up to this will be the best dates to book workshops plus Monday July 9, 2012.

For me, that is when my annual leave will be booked so that I will be able to attend every session!!
