Hi All.

While i was working in Japan i used a cut paste called "Karusu meito" (Callous mate). Upon returning i couldnt find it any where here in Victoria. So i started bringing in a couple of tubes for myself.
After showing it to a few people here in Melbourne they too wanted tubes for them selves so i brought in a couple extra.

Reciently i brought in another batch and have a few spare tubes.

The paste is a tooth paste consistency and dries into a brown rubbery seal. It is easily removed and doesnt leave a stain. It seals cuts and allows the cambium to roll over easily. You can speread it thinly while still maintaining a good seal so it is great for both big and small cuts. I saw it used for grafts, cut off branches and wounds while i was in Japan. You can also stick bark to it to further camoflage wounds.

I have been told that this product is available in Sydney but only in the 100gm tube. I believe that the 100gm tube sells for around $19.

I am selling the 150gm tubes for $20ea for the plus postage (Postage calculator Input: from: 3053, to: your postcode, satchel item, <250gm. ).
They have been selling like hot cakes down here so should you want one i would get in quick as i only have a couple left.

Send me a pm if you are interested.

For those that havent used it there are some pictures of what it looks like when it dries on my blog.

Have a look at the close up picture of the grafts on the large juniper you can also see it on the tsuga grafts although it is a little harder to see.
