Hi all
I bought this tree/shrub/plant(?) about 3 months ago from a local nursery. I obviously had something in mind when I bought it (I actually bought 2) but the label has either fallen off or been eaten by my dogs.

Can anyone identify it for me? Is it actually a native?

Thanks
Michael
p.s sorry.. i forgot the pictures:

A picture would say a thousand words if there were one.

It looks like a Calothamnus, it could be quadrifidus which is the most common of the cultivated species.

All Calothamnus are native to WA. Mostly in the south, but there are species that grow as far north as Exmouth.

I agree with Pup. Definitely Calothamnus. C. pillosa is another commonly cultivated species according to the books.
