Gday folks, and Happy Chocolate Hangover Day!!!

I found this Burgan (Kunzea ericoides) at a local nursery, and having seen Newzealandteatree's success with K. ambigua, I thought I'd try my hand at the genus. This specimen was unusual in that it had a couple of nice kinks at the base.

Hi Fly , now thats radical , glad to see i'm not the only hacker and chopper  .I'm struggling with native , they don't seem to want to play ball . One must persue the practice and knowledge in order to make progress .I will be keen to see how it reacts .Cheers Alpine

Great to see you moving into Kunzeas. They have much going for them, though the lack of back budding on old wood is challenging.

They offer wonderful opportunities for inserting more 'art' into ones bonsai.
