Yes folks its back again already. Bonsai Society Victoria are having their annual sale again. This particular event has become the bench mark for buying some great material at great value prices through your local club. There is always great book collections,display props and pots go up for sale also. As victorians we are blessed to be offered such oppertunity's. Even our friend Leigh Taafe couldnt resist dump'n his hard earned cash at this event last year.I wonder wether he's gonna make a return appearance this year I urge all of you to try and attend and pick yaself up a corka deal! Start saving ya penny's even beg borrow and steal if you have to but DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!!!

I'm looking forward to it...after seeing the booty from last year, I told myself i wasn't going to miss it this year...only about a 16 hour trip return and number of good nurseries on the way...make that a 72 hour trip

Last year I spent about $502
Entry cost was $2 and I believe this has not been increased.
This sale is different to most others because stock sold is mostly bonsai or pre-bonsai but not "standard nursery stock".
You will see stock from
*Older members who need to reduce their collection
*Moving house who need to reduce
*Deceased estates
As well as some which have been grown especially for life as bonsai for many years which are ready to be styled.
Then there are pots, stands rocks and more.

This is an event definately worth attending if you can make it. Last year I was lucky enough to be in Melbourne for a demo already. I would go to this off my own bat, making it the sole reason for a trip to Melbourne, but unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) I will still be in Perth.
