hey guys,

thought i would share some pics of my pseudocydonia sinenis aka chinese quince. it goes a brilliant red and it awesome to behold. went from green to red in just under a week :)

its still in the process of becoming a bonsai (still in its foam grow box and growing out the branches for some thickness)

This quince went this red last year so im assuming it will put on a great show every year! heres hoping!

i am yet to see this quince flower. Last year i di a lot of hard pruning so any flower buds would have been chopped off in autumn before they had a chance to bloom in spring. This year, due to having already selected the branch structure (and now im just growing the branhces out to thicken them up) i am hoping i will see blooms this spring. does anyone who owns one of these quinces ever have issues with flowering?
