You might be interested in the C.V.Star Bonsai Museum in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens.

New York doesn't have a great reputation for bonsai, though there are several clubs and retail outlets. The nearest really world famous bonsai museum is the National Bonsai and Penjing Museum at the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington.

thanks mate, ive visited the Brooklyn botanic garden and the bonsai was pretty exquisite, ive only got two more days then il be back in Aus. il see how i go, thanks.
